05 ZL2HD report from the Appeal to the Environment Court regarding Wellington City Council District Plan Change on behalf of NZART and the Wellington VHF Group. Nothing has been heard from the Environment Court
Neither NZART or Wellington City Council have heard anything from environment court .ZL2HD and ZL1BNB have been in discussion as to how to approach the court
Additional action: ZL2HD to work with Mike Newman ZL1BNB on work being done on district and city plan changes to list these and keep Council informed.
Have had letter from the Judge, Wellington City Council must now negotiate with Wellington VHF Group Ongoing

Correspondence has been initiated, no reply has been received.
ZL4TAE has been in contact with both John Martin ZL1GWE and the Ministry of Defence and is satisfied with the level of exchange of information occurring.
This is progressing well as far as Vaughan is aware. Ongoing

ZL2HD asked for someone else to take this on as he feels he is not motivated enough to carry this on. ZL3PAH offered to take this on and ZL1TPH has offered to work with Phil on this and assist where he can. Ongoing

01 ZL1TGC to contact FMTAG via email with reference to this proposal by Branch 74 asking them to refer this back to the Branch asking for more information on the frequency or band to be used and what input and output frequencies this repeater will be operating on.
There has been a revised application and this to be reconsidered in FMTAG Report
02 ZL1TGC to contact the ALO regarding Channel 39 and RSM and circulate via Council. Ongoing
03 ZL1TGC to recirculate the email from WIA to Council regarding the WW1 100 year commemoration.
ZL1TGC has heard nothing back from WIA at this stage. He hopes to hear back within the next week or so. Complete

Wording of Wellington VHF Group Digital ATV Repeater application: After discussion amongst Council everyone was happy with the new wording submitted for approval.

07/9 Membership Drive
So far Debby has processed 164 applications, 77 new ones and 87 reactivated.
There are a further 21 to process from today, 4 December, so we have confirmed
185 new members.
This is a great result and deadline finishes 7th December. If any further come in after the deadline we will still accept them, but they will not to go into the draw for a 2m hand-held radio.
07/10 Rangitikei District Plan appeal
Fee of $511.11 required by Mike Newman for the appeal.
ZL2TW contacted Mike re this and they have about 30days to pay this, so payment would have to be paid this week.

“That NZART Council start a consultation process with the Amateur Fraternity with a view to an update of the 70cm bandplan”

Discussion was then held re a time frame to publish Councils intentions.

Next Council on Air meeting will be Tuesday February 5th 2013
There is no on air meeting in January.
Any issues that are raised during this time can be dealt with by email on the Council reflector.
The next Face to Face meeting will be held on Saturday 16th February 2013 at Wellington Airport. All travel arrangements have been organised and it is a 08.30am start.
President Vaughan ZL1TGC took the opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a good New Year and is looking forward to ongoing work with Council in 2013
