03/5 Action points from Feb 2011 on air Council Meet 05 ZL2HD report from the Appeal to the Environment Court regarding Wellington City Council District Plan Change on behalf of NZART and the Wellington VHF Group. Nothing further on this to date.
Action Point: ZL2HD to work with Mike Newman ZL1BNB on work being done on district and city plan changes to list these and keep Council informed.
Action points from June 2011 Face to Face Friday meeting of Council U/H 06 ZL1TGC to write “Requirements of a Councillor”, updating e-handbook and send to Alan ZL1AMW for placement on the web. ZL1TGC will circulate this to council Ongoing
Action Points from September 2011 Council Net 04 ZL2AJ to lead email discussion regarding the formulation of a business Working group to discuss options for the future of NZART HQ. An email has been sent to the landlord with an offer but as to date no reply this email was resent today. Ongoing
Action Points from November 2011 Council Net 07 ZL2TW to do promotional Power point presentation for NZART and submit to Council for approval. Ongoing
Action Points from December 2011 Council Net 04 ZL1PK to liaise with Tauranga re the Environment Court re District Plans. Written Judgement has now turned up 70 pages. Tauranga City Council have asked the Environment Court for an extension of time to implement the planning decision into their district plan rule. An extension has been granted to 13 August, where they must give the judge their revised rules. Ongoing
Action Points Council meeting Friday F/F Nelson June 2012 02 ZL4TAE to keep ZL2TLL informed regarding Monitoring issues raised by John Martin ZL1GWE, so he can keep RSM updated. Ongoing 03 ZL2AJ/ZL2TW to prepare a letter and circulate to Council before forwarding to Wellington VHF. Letter has been circulated. ZL2AJ moved that the letter be sent to the Wellington VHF group ZL1PK seconded this. ZL2HD raised a concern regarding copyright which he felt had not been addressed in the letter. This motion is on hold pending email from ZL2HD A/P ZL2HD: to email all of council his concerns regarding copyright issues that have not been discussed according to him The question of copyright has to be resolved here and this will be updated by email. 06 ZL1TGC to call for a volunteer to fill the Midlands District Council position. 2 nominees for this position. Council is pleased to announce that the new Midlands Area councillor is Phil Holiday ZL3PAH. Complete A/P ZL2DL : Please notify Phil of council’s decision. Action Points Council meeting Monday F/F Nelson June 2012 01 ZL2HD to write a letter to the Managers of the National System to reduce considerably the forwarding of packet data. 05 ZL2DL to prepare a letter to branches with less than 5 members wish to remain active as a branch of NZART as per the NZART Constitution Letters have been sent. Opotiki Branch has responded and will make every effort to increase membership, especially with upcoming promotion. Complete

03/10 Break In Scanning approval for Jim Pye A/P ZL2DL: To notify Jim Pye that Council is happy for this to proceed and that ZL2AMJ willing to give him his copies of the Break In, in maybe year lots or how ever he would like them, but to be returned when finished with to Fred ZL2AMJ.

03/14 Leave of Absence ZL1TGC could be out of the country from the 20th August for about a week, but will notify the Vice president if this occurs.
03/15 General Business ZL2AJ asked to put his motions circulated by email: “That the updated Question Bank (as circulated) in PDF be placed on our website.” Moved ZL2AJ/Seconded ZL1TPH. Discussion followed with the question of copyright being raised. Agreed that the matter of copyright to be resolved quickly. ZL2AJ’s second motion regarding training material deferred until the issues in connection with motion number one are resolved.
