Description of Position
The position of Examination Supervisor is a position provided for under Section 28 (3) of the Radio Communications Regulations 2001. Examination Supervisors therefore should be people of integrity as Examinations and/or Examination Supervisors can be audited at any time by representatives of the Radio Spectrum Management Group of the Ministry of Economic Development.
The position calls for people who have the ability to carry out the duties as listed below.
Examination Supervisors work in groups of two authorised supervisors when supervising an Examination. Examination Supervisors should not be related to or friends with the candidate.
Duties of the Position
Print out the examinations(s) including the Information sheet and answer sheets from the supplied examination generation software.
Arrange a suitable time and place for the candidates to sit the examination.
Assist the candidate with filling out the appropriate information on the Information Sheet
Collect the pre requisite Examination Fee from the candidate and distribute as per current practise.
Supervise the examination(s).
Mark the Answer Sheet from the marking sheet provided with the examination paper.
Advise the candidate of the outcome of the examination.
Complete the necessary paperwork and provide this to the candidate.
Personal Skills
Examination Supervisors require access to a Personal Computer with an Internet Connection and Printer.
Examination Supervisors do not require technical ability. The examination Answer Sheet provided with each Question Paper provides the correct answers to all questions within the examination.
