http://www.vhf.org.nz/VHF-UHF-SHF-ContestRules
Contestants are reminded that Contest operations must fully comply with the General User Radio Licence (GURL) for Amateur Radio Operators (ARO), dated July 2010, and with the Contest Rules, otherwise penalties will be applied at the sole discretion of the Contest Committee.
All stations will be advised of the discrepancies and of the penalties applied.
The GURL does not permit operation between 50 and 51 MHz.
All 6 metre permits, for operation between 50 and 51 MHz, were cancelled in October 1995. After that date the Ministry introduced a “6 Metre Contract”. Please refer to page 16 of October 1995 Break-In for details.
Contest operation between 50 and 51 MHz must comply with all of the conditions of the particular 6 Metre Contract. The Contest Committee may request a copy of the 6 Metre Contract.
Log entries must be complete and accurate. Log entries are compared with the entry in the log submitted by the station being worked and points deducted, or other penalties applied, for discrepancies.
Score Multipliers apply to the operating condition of the station submitting the Contest Log, not to the operating condition of the station being worked.
END
Greetings.
Thank you for participating in the 2010 VHF-UHF-SHF Field Day, and for submitting a Contest Log.
The attached Preliminary Results list the scores claimed by the Contestants. Audit and Cross-Checking of Logs is now underway, which may result in adjustments to the scores.
It is intended that individual contestants will be contacted for, for example, copies of their 6 metre Contracts for operation between 50 and 51 MHz, and for details of some of the Scoring Multipliers.
Please send all corrections and comments to:
Regards.
Doug, ZL2TAR.
